Godly Play
Ages 3 years old - 6th Grade
Godly Play is a Montessori-based curriculum, in which students hear a story from the bible, then play with toys, do arts and crafts, and explore the stories in ways that make sense to them. We have a great crew of volunteers who prepare our supplies, put together resources, and train to support your children in learning about the bible and life in faith through this program!
Godly Play is offered on the first and third Saturday of the month, and the second and fourth Sunday of the month, throughout the school year. (See schedule for current school year below.) Godly Play happens during the worship services on these days. Children begin worship in the sanctuary with their parents, then depart to a classroom in the basement after the Children’s Message. The lesson finishes right around the same time as worship ends, so kids and parents can reunite to head home or join fellowship time.
You are welcome to attend as many Godly Play lessons as you would like! If you want to alternate worships each week to have kids attend Godly Play every weekend, you are free to do so. If you would like to stay on a regular worship schedule of attending every Saturday or every Sunday, we encourage you to do what is best for you and your family.
We are excited to offer this education option for our younger members and look forward to seeing you join us soon!
If you have any questions, please reach out to Natalie (peacelcyouth@gmail.com) or Pastor Seth (pastorrumage@gmail.com) or call the church office (406-252-5504) for more information!
